Picnics, wine and good food are all part of a great day on the River Thames.

Whether you’re spending just the morning with us, the whole day, or celebrating a special occasion, we want you to enjoy your adventure as we cruise along the River Thames from our base in Windsor - and food plays its part.

What we provide as standard —

View from the deck of a boat with a wooden steering wheel, blue cushioned seating, and a table with drinks, snacks, and a bottle of champagne, overlooking a river with a docked boat and a bridge in the background under a canopy.
  • A glass of something cold on arrival onboard

  • Complimentary pastries for breakfast or tea & cake in the afternoon

  • Complimentary tea, coffee, water and squash throughout the day

  • Biscuits and snacks throughout the day

  • Glasses, crockery and cutlery

  • Hot water for baby foods and such

Bring Your Own Food & Drink

We’re very happy for you to bring your own food and drink aboard.

After all, good food makes a day out a day out! We only ask you to tell us in advance what you plan to bring with you so we can load up with crockery.

And we ask you to take as much care of our boat as you do at home — red wine can play havoc with our upholstery as much as it does yours!

Lunch on the Riverside

The River Thames is blessed with some of the best riverside pubs and restaurants you will find anywhere — stop off and find out!

There are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants within cruising distance of Windsor. We’ve put a list of some of our favourites below, along with links to their websites for more details.

We strongly recommend booking in advance!

In the height of the summer these places are very popular and waiting times can be long. We’re happy to work with you to find a day for your cruise that fits with availability at your pub or restaurant of choice.

Let us know on your booking enquiry if this is the option you would like to explore and we’ll talk you through it.
